I just want to start off by saying that Kelly's SUYL: Singles was a hit! I got several comments and emails and I am SO VERY HAPPY to report that my brother has found a very special lady and I am so excited to see where things go from here! Wooo-Hooo! (I even got to meet her this weekend. She is a doll, both inside and out!!!)
I mentioned in the last post that my brother plays in a band. (Find Chasing Pictures here) They had a big show in Fayetteville on Saturday, so Reddell and I made a trip home to watch. We drove in early Friday morning and first met with a Chiropractor and his wife for lunch. Since we are moving back home to Arkansas in May, we are looking at options for R and praying for job opportunities. I hope that one day soon I can share about this specific situation...it has GOD written all over it and it is a true testament of how God ordains our steps in all we do. Whether it works out or not, we are so grateful!
Friday afternoon and evening we hung out with my sweet niece and went to the mall. My other brother, Ryan, and his girlfriend flew in from Los Angeles for the weekend and we met up with them at the mall and then headed to dinner with the rest of the fam! This was our first time to meet Ryan's girl, so it was fun to chat with her and get to know her. She is from New York and is in LA pursuing a career acting/singing.
Preciousness...
Saturday we went to the new museum in Bentonville, Crystal Bridges. We were very impressed with the museum! If you are ever in the area, be sure to check it out! My favorite was a picture of The Last Supper made from over 20,700 spools of thread! It was incredible!!!

Saturday night was my brother's concert. It was a great turnout and I am so proud of my brother! He and his band have worked very hard and they seriously sound like something you would hear on the radio! (Maybe that is the sister in me talking, but I really do believe it!) I am believing that all of you guys will hear them on your radio in the next couple of years... maybe even watch them perform on the Grammy's....WIN a Grammy!?!?!! ;)
We had a great weekend and I love making the drive home to spend time with family and friends. It excites us to know that we will be moving back for good in just a couple of months! (it is actually VERY bittersweet as we will be leaving some incredible friends here, but we are ready for this next part of our lives)
I am so behind on blogging that I don't even know where to start! One day I will take the time to get it all sorted out. Until then, Louie and I will stay up to date on our cuddle time! (the important things in life..right!?)
I hope you all have a blessed week!!
